BHP – Mount Whaleback

Thermal Engineering was engaged to provide cooling solutions across a wide range of crushing operations at Mount Whaleback. Utilising various size chillers from Thermals range the site has units from 115kw to 200kW.

One of the units was placed in an extended storage before being unpackaged to reveal it was still in fantastic condition and was then return to us at Thermal Engineering to power up the chiller and re-commission it to ensure everything was in a fit state before it was installed on site.

Thermal Engineering has continued to work with the team on-site to provide technical support, training and maintenance for the chillers through our dedicated service team.
