Thermal Engineering was engaged to provide an industrial cooling solution for a manufacturer of steel reinforcement products that service some of Australia’s largest building and construction companies.

We worked with the Perth-based team to offer an off-the-shelf style solution in the form of an Aqua Cooler Gladiator Chiller. This small-footprint chiller was an ideal solution for the Perth Metro-based application.

Our service team have continued after-sales support ensuring the equipment is maintained for reliable operation.

BHP – Mount Whaleback

We were engaged to provide cooling solutions across a wide range of crushing operations at Mount Whaleback. Utilising various size chillers from Thermals range the site has units from 115kw to 200kW.

Gruyere Gold

Our goal was to provide a cooling solution for a crusher on a gold mine. A HM115 chiller was selected to provide the 115kW of cooling demand whilst installed in dry and dusty conditions with temperatures reaching towards 50C.

Rio Tinto – Gudai-Darri

Thermal Engineering was engaged to provide cooling solutions for the crushing operations at Rio Tinto’s flagship Iron Ore mine – Gudai-Darri. Thermal Engineering selected, engineered and supplied our 200kW Chillers to support both primary and secondary crushing operations.

Novatron Safety Shower ROM 4 NPI Chillers

Roy Hill Safety Shower

Thermal Engineering was engaged by a water treatment contractor to provide an air-cooled chiller to supplement their offer of a safety shower network on the Roy Hill Mine site. With high ambient temperatures of 50°C and a list of mine site specifications to be adhered to Thermal proposed one of our Light Mining (LM) chillers. The 107kW base cooling capacity was provided by a CA115 model chiller manufactured in Victoria, Australia.
