Our company has an interesting history, with ups and downs that motivate us to keep going. Our story began in 1991 when we were once known as Thermatrol Engineering Pty Ltd, operating in Applecross, WA. Initially, we focused on distributing cooling towers before expanding to fans, filters, and other emerging technologies at that time.

The year 2007 was important to us, as it was when we made a significant move into air-cooled chillers, giving more attention to the mining sector. Because of our commitment to excellence, not only in our products but also in our services, we became trusted vendors for Tier 1 mining companies in the Pilbara region.

Fast forward to 2011, we became the number one choice for large industrial and commercial projects, providing them with reliable cooling solutions. Today, Thermal Engineering continues to offer chillers and cooling systems to a diverse range of industries, including fishing, agricultural, chemical, industrial, and, of course, mining.

Now in 2023 Thermal is a direct vendor to Tier 1 Miners BHP, FMG, Rio Tinto & Roy Hill along with a range of Tier 2 and 3 Miners. We have built long standing relationships with Crushing Companies such as Metso Outotec, FLSmidth & Sandvik.
